The choice of alloy depends primarily on the final mechanical properties the material can achieve and the ease of the manufacturing process.

The aluminum foil for transformer generally uses 1060, 1070 and 3003 aluminum foils. 1000 and 3000 series aluminum foils are ordinary aluminum plates, and the thickness of aluminum foil used for distribution transformers is generally between 0.02-0.055mm. Because the product production process is relatively simple and the technology is relatively mature, it has a price advantage over 5xxx and 6xxx aluminum alloys.

The raw materials of aluminum foil for aluminum foil bags are mainly 1 series, 3 series and 8 series products, mainly including 1060,1100, 3003, 8011, 8021, etc. The softness and hardness of the alloy, that is, the alloy state, is selected according to the needs of the packaged products. The three commonly used states are H14, H16 and H18.

Aluminum foil for bottle cap is mainly 1050, 1060, 1070 and 1100 aluminum foil. 1xxx aluminum foil is pure aluminum foil. Among all series, 1000 aluminum foil as the most aluminum content, and its purity is above 99.0%. However, for some aluminum bottle caps with special requirements, the performance of the 1000 aluminum alloys may not meet the standards.
