1235 Aluminum Foil VS 8011 Aluminum Foil

The aluminum product with a thickness below 0.2mm is usually called aluminum foil. The common types are electronic aluminum foil, tape foil, pharmaceutical packaging foil, food packaging foil, etc. Aluminum foils that appear to be the same have very different physical properties and different uses.

For example, 1070, 1100, and 3003 aluminum foils are common electronic aluminum foils, that is, aluminum foil for the cathode of electrolytic capacitors. They are commonly used in electronic components, and their thickness ranges from 0.02 to 0.05mm.

8011 aluminum foil equivalent and 8021 aluminum foil are common medicinal aluminum foils. The aluminum foil used for pharmaceutical packaging has a thickness range of 0.02-0.07mm. It has strict requirements on pinhole degree, unwinding performance and surface wetting performance, and has excellent moisture-proof performance.

It has light-shielding properties and extremely high barrier properties. It also has the advantages of being non-toxic, tasteless, safe and hygienic, and easy to carry. It is widely used in the packaging of various pharmaceutical capsules, tablets, and granules after compounding, printing, and gluing.

8011, 1235, and 1060 are common tape foils. Tape foils are widely used in refrigerators, air conditioners, automobiles, petrochemicals, bridges, hotels, electronics and other industries. It has the advantages of moisture-proof, air-tight, light-shielding, abrasion resistance, fragrance retention, non-toxic and odorless.

1060, 1100, 3003, 5052, 8011, 8021, and 8079 aluminum foils are common food packaging foils. Food packaging foils are mainly used for vacuum packaging of edible foods and barbecue and other edible foods. They are non-toxic and tasteless. They have strict inspection standards like heavy metal testing.

1235 Aluminum foil for sale belongs to industrial pure aluminum and its aluminum element content is ≥99.35%. 8011Although 8011 is listed in 8xxx aluminum alloy (i.e., aluminum-lithium alloy in the national standard), it does not contain lithium. The main alloying elements are Si and Fe, and the maximum contents are: 0.9% and 1% respectively.

They have many same application like insulation materials, and aluminum tape, but 8011 aluminum foil has wider applications than 1235 aluminum foil. 1235 aluminum foil is a well known battery aluminum foil.
